With the development of high-definition(HD)video technology,various types of HD video equipment are extremely rich,including high-definition televisions,high-definition players,high-definition set-top boxes,etc.,and have been greatly popularized.HD video component signals are the signal forms for high-definition video transmission,acquisition,which are widely used in the production,testing,and verification of video products.The quality of these signals directly affects the transmission of video information and the user's ultimate experience.However,at present,there is no relevant calibration method in China.The test items are not standardized,and the signal quality cannot be guaranteed.Therefore,the research on the calibration method of HD video component signals is of great importance to realize the accuracy and unification of HD video component signal calibration and ensure the quality of HD video equipment.This paper relies on the national metrology and technical supervision document development project(Document [2015] No.146)issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision,Inspection and Quarantine,and was carried out closely related to the research of calibration methods for high-definition video component signals and the establishment of calibration devices.Firstly,the characteristics of HD video component signals are analyzed,according to the requirements of HD product testing standards of China and related international organizations,the calibration parameters are determined,and the technical requirements of the calibration device are proposed.Secondly,the calibration method of each parameter of HD video component signal was studied.In order to improve the accuracy of time measurement,the linear interpolation fitting technique is used to process the sampled data.In the video noise measurement,the slope compensation measurement and the slope noise extraction technique are proposed;Video horizontal synchronous jitter measurement technology based on data acquisition is adopted to realize horizontal synchronous jitter measurement.Finally,based on the virtual instrument platform of LabVIEW,an automatic calibration device for high-definition video component signal was developed and the uncertainty of the calibration device was analyzed.Based on this work,the "Calibration Specification of High-Definition Video Signal Generator" will be formally released.At the same time,the calibration device has been put into use in the actual work,it proved the operation result is good by practice,and reached the desired target.Also good social and economic benefits are achieved.
