With the test technique improved and test range widen, the request to test is stricter and stricter. It brings forward new requests to the celerity and veracity of auto calibration and verification. Former manpower verification testing has not satisfied the measurement request. At the same time, it is a huge waste to the resource of many advanced instruments and facilities. So it must to adopt auto calibration and verification and measurement system.The project applies VC++ and Microsoft Access database to design multimeter auto calibration and verification programme,according to the principle and structure and function characteristic of calibratior and digital multimeter. The system can control the standard instrument and verified instrument worked automatically. The outcomes of verification are auto memorized and storage. And it can put out corresponding verification certificate and testing report.This article analyzes the status quo of domestic and overseas researches on the multifunctional auto-calibration. And some contents are introduced in the article.1) In the first place, the auto calibration and verification system of digital multimeter is introduced about background,actuality, necessity, feasibility,and its function.2) Hardware construction of the digital multimeter auto calibration and verification system.3) Software design of the digital multimeter auto calibration and verification system.4) We research the ways of weeding out some accidental inaccuiacy and Accessment of uncertainty,and achieve the function of processing automatically data.4) For simply and comfortably operating software of the auto calibration and verification system,we researched the operating interface design.
