This thesis is aimed at the engineering problems in the radome design.First,the electrical performance design of the A sandwich radome is studied,then the electrical performance calculation software of the flat radome is developed based on the graphical interface,and the physical optics method is introduced to analyze the process of the curved radome.Secondly,the establishment and calibration methods of the microwave anechoic chamber test system aiming at the electrical performance test of the complex array radome system is studied,taking an airborne forward hood as an example,the phase inconsistency of the antenna array-radome system is tested and verified.Aiming at the radome damage appeared in the process of using,the different effects of damage on the electromagnetic properties of the radome by using the electromagnetic simulation software is studied,experimental verification of different damage sample is tested,which will provide a strong basis for radome electromagnetic damage detection.Finally,the free space method is proposed to extract the equivalent electromagnetic parameters of radome,which provides a theoretical basis for material selection of radome damage repair,and has practical engineering significance.The main work of this thesis is summarized as follows:(1)Based on the transmission line theory,the calculation method of the radome is derived,and the influence of radome polarization mode,skin thickness and core thickness on the power transmission is analyzed.According to the requirements of the actual project,an A sandwich radome with the best power transmission is designed,and the electrical performance calculation software of the flat radome is developed based on the graphical interface.Taking the actual tangent oval cover as an example,this thesis introduces the modeling,dissection and calculation process of the surface radome by physical optics method.(2)The electrical performance testing system and test method of a complex array antenna radome is studied,the debugging technology of the complex system in the microwave darkroom is studied,taking an airborne front hood as an example,the phase inconsistency test of the antenna array radome system is carried out through building,calibrating and debugging in the microwave anechoic chamber.(3)The influence of perforation,scratching and water penetration on power transmission and insertion phase delay of radome are analyzed by electromagnetic full wave simulation software.The effect of the damage on the electrical properties is analyzed by the method of setting up an electric field probe,at the same time,the sample of the damage test is tested and analyzed.The test results are in good agreement with the simulation results,which provides a strong basis for the realization of the electromagnetic detection method of the radome damage and the repair of the damage.(4)Taking perforation damage as the main research objective,based on the calculation method of the equivalent electromagnetic parameters of radome in free space method,the corresponding electrical repair measures for damaged radome are put forward accordingly,taking the A sandwich radome as an example,the electrical performance of the damaged antenna radome system during the repair process is simulated and analyzed by electromagnetic simulation software,and the feasibility of the repair method is theoretically determined.
