As an important component of the communication system terminal,antennas are put forward higher requirements on their performance with the rapid development of wireless communication technology in recent years.Magneto-electric dipole antenna has become a research hotspot in recent years because of its good impedance matching characteristic,stable gain and symmetric radiation pattern.This paper focuses on how to broaden the bandwidth of the magneto-electric dipole antenna and realize the design of dual polarized,circular polarized and low profile antenna.The main content of this paper are as follows:1.An E-shaped wideband magneto-electric dipole antenna is designed.It uses E-shaped patch to increase the number of resonant frequency point.The impedance bandwidth of the antenna is 74.4%?VSWR?2?,its gain is more than 7.34dBi and fluctuation scope is less than 1.84dBi.In addition,on the basis of this antenna,an E-shaped wideband dual-polarized magneto-electric dipole antenna is designed.The impedance bandwidth of the antenna is 73.3%?VSWR?2?,the isolation between two input ports is more than 32dB,the antenna gain is more than 7.27dBi and fluctuation scope is less than 2.11dBi.2.A bow-tie shaped wideband dual-polarized magneto-electric dipole antenna is presented.Both ports of the antenna can achieve impedance bandwidth of 83.3%?VSWR?2?.The gain is more than7.1dBi,the fluctuation scope is less than 2.7dBi and the isolation between two input ports is more than 25dB.Moreover,in order to broaden the bandwidth of the antenna,we present a bow-tie shaped wideband dual-polarized magneto-electric dipole antenna which has two layers on the basis of the bow-tie broadband dual polarized antenna designed before.Both ports of the antenna can achieve impedance bandwidth of 91.6%?VSWR?2?.The front to back of the antenna is more than 19dB and the isolation between two input ports is more than 20dB.3.A new type of wideband low profile Left-Handeded circular polarized?LHCP?magneto-electric dipole antenna is designed.Compared with traditional magneto-electric dipole antenna whose profile is 0.250??0?:the wavelength of the central frequency point-5.68GHz?,the profile of this antenna is only 0.110?because it uses the meandering technology.A good circular polarized characteristic of the antenna is achieved by using a single feed point and a rotating symmetric magneto-electric dipole structure.The 3dB axial ratio?AR?bandwidth is 25.6%.The gain is more than 5.5dBi.The fluctuation scope is less than 1dBi.Meanwhile,A wideband low profile Right-Handeded circular polarized?RHCP?magneto-electric dipole antenna is also designed,which is symmetry to the LHCP magneto-electric dipole antenna.Its axial ratio bandwidth is 27%,the gain is more than 5.8dBi and the fluctuation scope is less than 0.8dBi.
