Application Of Intrusion Detection Technology In Campus Network Security

With the continuous development of the Internet,the technology of preventing Internet from being infringed has also been studied.Whether it is more appropriate to prevent the factors that induce campus network security at the source or to completely interrupt the ways that endanger campus network security has aroused widespread discussion in the academic circles.Intrusion detection technology is in the process of developing campus network security.In this context.In fact,intrusion detection technology belongs to the first kind,that is,to prevent the factors that induce campus network security at the source,to ensure that important information in the campus network is not infringed,this technology is currently recognized as the safest and most appropriate technology to prevent campus network security accidents.Intrusion detection technology has not been long since its birth,but it is relatively mature in application.Because of its own advantages and strong operability,intrusion detection technology has been actively introduced into campus network security maintenance in Colleges and universities.Intrusion detection technology also plays an active role in maintaining campus network security.In real life,various factors that endanger campus network security are constantly emerging,and the threat to campus network security is also rising.Therefore,the application of intrusion detection technology has become an indispensable part of campus network security maintenance.This paper designs and tests the campus network security system which combines intrusion detection and firewall.In this system,the data acquisition module is responsible for collecting the specified network traffic data for the use of statistical analysis module.Statistical analysis module is the core,which is responsible for analyzing the abnormal behavior of network traffic and calculating the abnormal degree of abnormal behavior.When the abnormal degree is greater than the set threshold,it sends an alarm to the analysis module and provides the abnormal degree information of the abnormal.The parsing module analyses the abnormal alarm information from the statistical analysis module,and judges whether the alarm indicates that there is a real network intrusion according to the corresponding algorithm.In the experimental environment,the campus network security system is tested.The test results show that the system has ideal intrusion detection capability,and can further improve the level of campus network security protection and network management.
