Jiangsu Polytechnic College Of Agriculture And Forestry Campus Network Security System Construction And Implementation

As the development of education informatization, college campus network scale is increasing and its user groups cover almost all the students and staff. Various network applications are deep in teaching, research, management, entertainment, living and all aspects. Therefore, it has become an important task for the campus network construction and management to protect the reliable, safe and stable campus network operation. However, as the other networks, the campus network also have to face a lot of real network security issues and there are endless and various campus network security incidents. Therefore, the research on the construction and implementation of the campus network security system has pretty much practical significance.Take the campus network in Jiangsu Polytechnic College of Agriculture and Forestry for example, based on the introduction of the status quo of the current safety of the campus network at home and abroad, the author analyzed all kinds of threats to the safe operation of the campus network; researched the measures and techniques to protect the safe operation of the campus network; analyzed the problems faced by the campus network in the five dimensions:physical level, network level, system level, application level, and management level; proposed the goal and content of the network security construction, the function of the campus network security and defense system. Then based on this, the author proposed the design plan for the campus network security and defense system in Jiangsu Polytechnic College of Agriculture and Forestry. Finally, the paper focuses on the specific deployment and implementation of the key points in the design plan:firewall technology, intrusion detection technology, computer virus prevention technologies, VPN technology, protocol analysis technology and implementation and described the network security system implementation effects.Application practice showed that the deployment of the program bettered the defence to the attacks from both outside and inside of the campus network, improved the management level of the campus network security, reduced the harm of computer viruses to the network, reduced the impacts from network intruder on the campus network running, reduced the spread of evil information in the campus network, improved the access security, guaranteed the stable running of the network application. Overall, the program is successful and there is certain reference to the network security system construction in the similar institutions and enterprises.
