Based on the actual project requirements,the maneuvering target detection and tracking techniqes of millimeter-wave LFMCW radar are studied in this paper.The distance-velocity decoupling algorithm,the DOA estimation algorithm,the ground clutter simulation of the actual scene in which the maneuvering targets are located,the commonly used maneuvering target model and the target tracking algorithm are analyzed respectively for millimeter-wave LFMCW radar.The main work done in this dissertation is as follows:(1)The basic structual characteristics and signal feature of millimeter-wave LFMCW radar are studied respectively.The distance resloution and velocity resloution are theoretically deduced,and analyzed the influence of the nonlinear distortion of the transmitted signal on the distance resolution.(2)Combined with the actual environment where maneuvering targets are located,the ground clutter characteristics of millimeter-wave LFMCW radar are studied.The commonly used ground clutter amplitude distribution models are studied and analyzed,and zero memory nonlinearity transform is applied to simulate the weibull ground clutter.(3)Aimed at the distance and velocity coupling problem of millimeter-wave LFMCW radar target,a novel three-segement LFMCW signal is designed to realize the distance-velocity decoupling in single target and multi-target situations and the waveform is applied to LFMCW automative radar maneuvering target detection project,and carried out preliminary test in the real situation.The modified Rife algorithm is used to estimate the frequency of the intermediate-frequency signal,which can effectively improve the accuracy of distance measurement of maneuvering target.(4)In order to slove DOA estimation problem of milimeter-wave LFMCW radar maneuvering target,DOA estimation algorithm based on phase interferometer is studied.DOA estimation algorithm and unwrapping phase ambiguity algorithm of phase interferometer with different baseline numbers are analyzed in detail.(5)Pointed at tracking problem of millimeter-wave LFMCW radar maneuvering target,based on the actual maneuvering target scenes,the commonly used maneuvering target models are analyzed and studied,and the tracking of the millimeter wave LFMCW radar maneuvering target is realized by using extended Kalman filter and unscented Kalman filter respectively.
