Language is born with two functions of information transmission and emotional expression.In video programs,language is an indispensable part and integral prat of Chinese culture.In the development of China's variety video programs,the content of the program dominated by elite culture has experienced the stage of birth,decline and rebirth.In recent years,programs that focus on language and emotion expression have begun to receive widespread attention and form phenomena-level programs.This phenomenon of “return” is worth noting.However,there is a lack of books and academic papers on the study of such issues from the perspective of cognitive communication.This thesis systematically analyzes the general process of the development of video programs in China,and selects the video programs with distinctive features for comparative analysis.The process of regression is discussed in detail from the perspective of perspective and emotional cognition.Highlighting the important functions of the language,and finally discussing the existing problems of such videos and the reasons for the return.The regression research on the viewpoints and feelings in the language variety video shows that:(1)the emotional expression function of language is not negligible;(2)The process of language regression is the transformation of the audience's opinions and expressions;(3)The process of emotional return is the embodiment of elite culture and traditional culture;(4)The objective reason for the return is the improvement of the overall quality of the audience and the transformation of social values;(5)The subjective reason for the return is the communicator's cognition of the production of video program content and the perception of the audience's self-demand;(6)There are still problems to be improved in this kind of video programs in China at this stage.Regression studies of opinions and emotions in language-based video programs prove that the existence of such programs is necessary,and may become mainstream with the development of the times.Video program producers should pay attention to the needs of the audience from multiple angles and correct the existing ones.The problem is to create video content that is more in line with the audience's aesthetics and needs.
