Cognitive wireless sensor network clustering routing protocol can effectively reduce the complexity of topology management.APTEEN is a typical clustering protocol of wireless sensor networks, which can send data periodically and respond to emergencies immediately. In this paper,APTEEN is introduced into cognitive wireless sensor network, and research on the problems existing in cognitive wireless sensor network of the protocol networking is carried out. When APTEEN transmits data in multi-hop format, there is a problem that the cluster head close to the base station bears more tasks. In order to reduce the workload of the cluster head close to the base station, this paper proposes an ant colony-based uneven clustering APTEEN algorithm ACUCAPTEEN.The algorithm combines routing and spectrum allocation by using a cross-layer design method, and improves the energy efficient uneven clustering protocol and introduces it into APTEEN,which reduces the workload of the cluster head. The simulation results show that compared with the ant colony-based uniform clustering APTEEN algorithm, the network life cycle of ACUCAPTEEN algorithm is extended by 20.2%.ACUCAPTEEN algorithm does not consider the residual energy in the candidate cluster head selection process, which will make nodes with many idle channels but low energy become cluster heads, reduce the life cycle.A fixed competition radius results in cluster heads far from the base station still having more intra-cluster tasks with less residual energy. For these problems, this paper proposes an optimized ACUCAPTEEN algorithm to optimize candidate cluster heads, and use residual energy as a factor of candidate cluster head probability and optimize the competition radius. The simulation results show that the network life cycle of the optimized ACUCAPTEEN algorithm is extended by 20.6%.
