Nowadays,the extensive use of fieldbus technology in industrial field makes the industrial control structure easier in system design,installation,maintenance and management,reduces the cost of system's installation,operation and maintenance,and also enhance the stability of the system.These advantages make the fieldbus technology has become a hot project in automation technology development.Profibus is the abbreviation of process fieldbus.It became a standard of the fieldbus accep ted internationally in 1989.It has led ahead in the field of automation for years,and there are more than 50 million device nodes around the world.A mess number of sensors,execution devices and control devices usually exist in large and comp lex control systems to achieve data transmission and interactive information via Profibus.By real-time monitoring the Profibus,recoding and analysing data can help the system designer and manager deeply understanding the system status,mining the system error,so as to further improve the reliability of system.Therefore,since Profibus monitor and analysis techniques in engineering applications has important practical value,it is necessary to study and design a special Profibus monitor diagnostic tool.Based on the deep analysis of Profibus-DP protocol(system components,communication theory,protocol structure),this paper proposed a hardware and software design to collect and monitor the Profibus-DP network data.To implement this approach,we designed a dedicated high-speed communication hardware interface to make ordinary computer able to collect Profibus communication data correctly.We designed a communication data analysis software for parsing the important data information from the original message.This paper implements a friendly man-machine interface,through this interface,the topology of the network and the data flow between master and slave sites can be visually displayed,and we can conduct system maintenance and failure of the entire Profibus system based on data record.Finally,we adopted Siemens PLC S7-400,S7-200 and ET200 remote I/O interface to build th e test network for experimental veri fication of the entire system.
