Development Of Embedded Intelligent Monitoring System Communication Interface Based On PROFIBUS

The cover range of industry network technology has enlarged continuously,and has realized the unification of the production process and control system ofthe whole factory to an information management platform. The EIMS(EmbeddedIntelligent Monitoring System)which we are developing is use PROFIBUS-DPFieldbus technology, realize the communication from field intellective devices toManagement Information System of place of honor. This paper applied the programmable technology of CPLD, and combinedthe communication specification of PROFIBUS-DP Monomaster-System,developed the interface card between Fieldbus and the CPU mould of base onPC104 bus. With VHDL, via software programmable method, CPLD has realizedthe part of hardware circuit of PROFIBUS-DP communication. Analyzed themodularize system structure of the Windows CE Embedded Operation System,and combined the concretely hardware characteristic, developed the device driverprogram under Windows CE and build the suitable Operation System. Finally,this paper briefly introduced the process of emulation and debug.
