Research On Testing Scheme Of Field Bus Interface Card EDPF-PB

With the development of industrial automation technology, PROFIBUS technology has become mature. The PROFIBUS technology is widely used in DCS in recent years. More and more industrial manufacturers are committed to the development of PROFIBUS protocol products. To reduce development cost, we are trying to master core technology independently and implement by using the PROFIBUS protocol software in high speed single chip microcomputer. We develop a PROFIBUS-DP interface card called EDPF-PB card with the peripheral hardware interface. The card is used to actualize the interconnection between PROFIBUS network and DCS. I design a set of testing scheme focus on the function and performance of the card as a PROFIBUS-DP master to ensure the security and reliability of the card in engineering application.The paper firstly analyzes the PROFIBUS-DP key technologies. According to the designs of EDPF-PB demand, the paper analyzes the testing scheme on protocol consistency, interoperability, load capacity, redundancy and communication performance of the DP master, then designs a series of test methods for EDPF-PB card in detail. The test plan I designed includes hardware testing and software testing, covers the main function test and performance measurement. The measured index is formulated in accordance with the IEC61158 standard in this test plan. The detailed procedure of the test plan can guide the test of a DP master. Through the testing process, function test and performance test of EDPF-PB card are completed, and the feasibility of the test plan and the efficiency of the test methods are verified. Based on analysis of the test results, some improvement suggestions are presented for the EDPF-PB cared, and the reference for design of the next generation of products is given.The test method of the PROFIBUS interface card EDPF-PB is credible and effective for testing the function and performance of DP master. And the method has good performability. It has reference value for establishment of the test criterion for DP masters in our country.
