With the continuous development of mobile Internet, content distribution has become the core requirement of mobile Internet. The idea of binding content to addresses in TCP/IP protocols is not conducive to the distribution of content, and the issues of mobility, security, and scalability exposed by TCP/IP protocols are becoming more prominent in mobile networks. Therefore, the academic community has proposed Information Centric Networking(ICN).Named Data Networking(NDN),as one of the most representative projects of the information center network, takes the content name as the identifier of content transmission, which coincides with the demand of content distribution, and has become a research hotspot of the future network.NDN is able to support mobile networks better, improve their content distribution efficiency, and reduce network bandwidth consumption.Mobile Ad-hoc NETworks(MANET)is an autonomous set of mobile terminals.Nodes in the network can move arbitrarily and communicate through multi-hop relay. Thus, the topology of the network will undergo unpredictable dynamic changes. At the same time, the flexibility, scalability and high invulnerability of MANET make it crucial in military operations, disaster relief and other fields. Therefore,MANET is one of the important research scenarios of mobile networks.Based on the idea of content-centric,the forwarding strategy of named data networking in the MANET has a very low dependence on the topology, which makes NDN have great advantages in the MANET environment. This paper investigates the advantages and forwarding characteristics of named data networking in MANET,introduces the existing NDN forwarding strategies based on MANET,and fully discusses the problems of distance-aware forwarding strategies.Aiming at the problems of poor mobility and low timeliness of existing distance sensing strategies,a data packet return algorithm based on distance information is designed. This algorithm does not implement the traditional return strategy which returns data packets by the original route. The nodes in network can decide whether to forward data packets according to the distance information, which changes the way data packets are passively returned to data consumers, and makes the process of data packet return more ”active”.In addition, the algorithm updates the distance table by flooding interest packets, thus ensuring the timeliness of distance. In this paper,we build a simulation platform to verify the function and simulate the performance of forwarding strategy. The experimental results show that the forwarding strategy proposed in this paper can support better mobility of nodes, reduce bandwidth consumption and improve the response rate of network requests in the case of high mobility. In this paper,we build a simulation platform to verify the function and evaluate the performance of forwarding strategy. The experimental results show that the forwarding strategy proposed in this paper present better effects for the mobility of nodes, reduce bandwidth consumption and improve the response rate of network requests in the case of high mobility.
