Information Centric Networking(ICN)has become a research hotspot as an excellent future Internet architecture.Named Data Networking(NDN)is considered as an authoritative and representative implementation scheme of ICN.Compared with traditional IP protocol,NDN protocol is considered to have stronger robustness,which is more favorable for solving the problems of node mobility,topology dynamics and link discontinuity of MANET.NDN introduces in-network Caching,a freely expandable communication mechanism which provides great flexibility for data storage.Efficient caching strategy is an important technique to reflect the performance of NDN.This paper focuses on the Named Data Mobile Ad hoc NETwork(NDMANET)caching strategy.On the basis of analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of existing caching strategies,this paper comprehensively considers the four factors of remaining cache space of nodes,content popularity,distance between nodes and consumer nodes,and cache status of upstream nodes.On the basis of the Data Interval caching strategy,a new cache strategy,Content Popularity and Distance based Interval caching strategy(CPDI),is designed and implemented.The main purpose is to improve network cache hit ratio,reduce cache space consumption and other performance to improve network performance.In this paper,ns-3 network simulator and NDN simulation module based on ns-3 are used to build named data mobile Ad hoc network simulation platform,and comprehensive simulation experiments are carried out on the basis of CPDI caching strategy.In the simulation experiment,six performance indexes in two scenarios were selected to evaluate the performance of CPDI cache strategy.The simulation results show that the CPDI caching strategy proposed in this paper is 3%,5.58% and 0.9% higher than the LCE(Leave Copy Everywhere)caching strategy,Prob(Copy With Probability)caching strategy,and Interval(Data Interval)caching strategy respectively in terms of the average cache hit ratio.In terms of reducing cache space,CPDI has a distinct advantage over LCE and Prob,with an average of 2 packets less than Interval.In terms of average energy consumption,CPDI and Interval showed similar performance,with a significant decrease compared to both LCE and Prob.However,CPDI has a further reduction compared to Interval.Only in terms of average download latency,the CPDI caching strategy has increased compared to LCE and Interval,95.273 ms higher than LCE and 82.737 ms higher than Interval.In addition,in the simulation scenario of Internet of vehicles,CPDI caching strategy proposed in this paper significantly reduces network traffic and load of producer nodes compared with Interval.
