Design And Realization Of Mobile Learning Platform For Rural Middle School Students

With the rapid development of the Internet and mobile technology,the traditional teaching pattern accepts big challenges,new learning pattern appears gradually,which makes study enter into Mobile era.The traditional education model can no longer meet the requirements of education in today's world.For mountainous middle schools in urban areas,the traditional education model has many shortcomings,and various features of mobile learning can make up for these deficiencies.Mobile learning is a kind of learning style which can communicate with each other by mobile equipment regardless of time and places.Learners can study by mobile equipment whenever,it breaks up the pattern and the limit of time and space.The system is mainly aimed at mountain area middle school,the purpose is to provide a learning platform for students.In a mountain school,most of the students are stay-at-home children,parents have no time to tutor their children and they can't understand children's studies But now,parents can track the student's learning status well by the system.Meanwhile,in order to enable students to grasp knowledge firmly,some exercises are designed into the mode of game passing.This allows the teacher can track and evaluate the students' leaning progress in form of fun and education.It is hoped that this system can cultivate students' good habit of independent learning.Nowadays,campus wireless network can cover every corner.According to this feature,teachers and administrator users login the platform by B/S application,so that it can realize the goal of platform manage and teaching manage Student users can use Android application to login the intranet platform by wireless network,so that it can realize the goal of study,and it will reduce the learning cost.Meanwhile,parents can use Android application to login the network platform by Internet,inquiring about their child's studies.After the system is completed,further research on its teaching application is conducted,Two classes of the author's school were selected as experimental subjects,Compare the difference between learning with mobile learning system and only using traditional learning mode,and compare the difference between their grades before and after.In addition,the use of the mobile learning system and the differences of the applicable objects were investigated to verify the effectiveness of the mobile learning system in learning.The system is recognized by most students,which greatly improves students' learning initiative.
