Due to the poor automation and low labor productivity in flotation process,S7-200 PLC is chosen as the system controller.The control system includes PLC and its corresponding extension modules,frequency converter,electric regulator and electromagnetic valve.This thesis focuses on the control scheme in flotation process,including the function design,hardware design,type selection and software development of control system.By adjusting the main control parameters in flotation process,the working environment is improved and the mineral processing indicators are optimized.At the same time,the benchmark values are obtained to improve the performance of the equipment.Firstly,it introduced the flotation process of Steel-making Factory,.According to the analysis of production process,it is found that the main factors,including the thickener underflow concentration,ore yield,flotation agent addition,flotation intake and flotation liquid level,which influence the taste of iron.Secondly,based on the literature review of the control methods in flotation process,the control systems are designed and analyzed for five subsystems separately,including the bottom stream concentration subsystem of the enrichment machine,the flotation supply subsystem,the intake gas flow subsystem,the flotation liquid level subsystem and the flotation agent subsystem.At the same time,through the selection and design of the hardware and software in each subsystem,we can constructed and realized the control system for the whole flotation process,which meets the design requirements.Finally,the stability and reliability of the control system are verified by the practical data analysis.The designed control scheme also provides a support for the study of iron concentrate taste.
