Design And Implementation Of Orientation Management And Service System

In recent years,the enrollment of college students has been increasing,which also brings great challenges to the freshman orientation.Pressed for time,the freshman orientation needs to coordinate many departments at the same time.The Student Affairs Office is responsible for the traditional orientation system,organizing and coordinating the departments such as the branch,finance and logistics to deal with the orientation work on campus.Freshmen and their parents,carrying heavy luggage,walk around the huge campus and queue for dozens of minutes at various processing points to complete the registration procedures.This kind of model has the following obvious flaws.Firstly,the costs of manpower,materials and capital are too high,while the effect is unsatisfactory.Secondly,in the process of freshman orientation,the information of each point is relatively independent,which brings a lot of repetitive work to the staff.What's more,the process is manual operation,which causes difficult management.Last but not least,orientation efficiency is low and errors increase.Based on the above situation,it is very suitable to solve the dilemma of freshman orientation by means of informationization,so as to optimize the work process of greeting new students,improve the efficiency of greeting new students and the satisfaction of teachers and students.In this thesis,the author uses the design and implementation of orientation management and service system,which are based on the full study of the relevant software requirements of the digital campus in colleges and universities.It uses B/S architecture mode to develop,meanwhile it uses Web technology,whose front-end relying on BootStrap framework to realize the UI of the system,while its back-end relying on JFinal framework to realize the core functions of the system.It employs MySQL database to store large-capacity data information simultaneously.The main work of this thesis is as follows: Research and analysis the current situation regarding the orientation management and service system at home and abroad,to collect and understand the development of a detailed background of the project.Research the orientalism system involved in the development of related technologies.Including the system of B/S architecture,JFinal framework and MySQL database.According to the specific problems,we analyze the system from it's needs and feasibility and we design the overall architecture of the system,by using UML technology,we design the freshmen information management,payment management,operator information management and other functional modules in details.Finally,based on the B/S architecture mode,the orientation management and service system was implemented and tested for its functions and performance.The realization of the system can not only improve the efficiency of the school's orientation service,optimize the business process of the school's orientation work,but also improve the school's orientation management method.
