The fractal image compression coding method has become a hot spot in the field of image compression with the advantages of high compression ratio and fast decoding.However,the traditional fractal coding uses global search,which takes a lot of time.At the same time,the coding is easy to cause "block effect",which affects the definition of the reconstructed image.Therefore,improving the reconstructed image quality and shortening the encoding time is the main research direction of this paper.The specific work content is as follows:First of all,after sufficient research,a new classification method is proposed in this paper.The parent block D is divided into three categories in advance.For any R block,the appropriate features are selected in the corresponding classes to search for the best matching block..Experimental results show that the algorithm is effective.Secondly,on the basis of studying the fast fractal coding of feature vector method,a new feature,nine blocks and features,is proposed and its feasibility analysis is given.Global search is changed into local search in the algorithm,which shortens the encoding time.The experimental results show that the algorithm can achieve acceleration while ensuring picture quality.Finally,on the basis of studying the principle and advantages of wavelet transform,an encoding algorithm combining wavelet transform and nine blocks and features is proposed to further improve the reconstructed image quality and shorten the image encoding time.Experimental simulations show that the algorithm can achieve acceleration while improving the quality of reconstructed images.
