As a new-generation bus standard,VPX bus has higher performance than previous ones,stronger environmental adaptability,stable and reliable operation.In some important areas,such as radar,sonar,intelligent signal processing,etc.,VPX bus technology is widely used.In view of the advantages of the VPX bus,a integrated control console case based on the VPX bus architecture is developed,and a new generation of high-speed bandwidth technology is applied to the vehicleborne control equipment to realize the expansion and upgrade of the old one.The integrated control console case integrates the functions of power supply,telemetry,and networking in the standard way of VITA48,and data exchange and processing are performed through the backplane,realizing the integrated function of the equipment under the high-speed processing bandwidth.In the development process of the integrated control console case,the functional components of the case are comprehensively considered.With the modular design idea and the structural design based on the VPX standard protocol,the scheme design,case structure design,mechanical and thermal analysis are respectively carried out.The constituent materials are reasonably selected with electromagnetic compatibility design and heat transfer design bearing in mind,and the composition of the various parts are reasonably laid out.During the structural design process,the 3D physical model of the case is built using Pro/E software;the finite element model is constructed using the finite element analysis software MSC.Patran,and the grid composition and unit grouping are divided;the dynamics analysis and heat transfer analysis of the case are performed using ANSYS18,and illustrated with a cloud map.The development results show that the structure of the integrated control console case takes into account the standard of VITA48,the application conforms to the standard of “three-standardization”,and the modular structure facilitates the later application and maintenance.In terms of the thermal design of the case structure,the composition of each part,the contact form,the material's heat conduction and heat dissipation,process methods,etc.all meet the application requirements,and the overall heat dissipation effect is lower than the highest application temperature of 80 °C of the module.Through the corresponding finite element analysis,it is theoretically verified that the case design of the control console meets the application requirements.Finally,the structural performance of the integrated control console case isverified by tests such as mechanical test and EMC test.The mechanical properties of the control console case under boundary conditions and the structural performance during random vibration are stable,the strength meets the requirements of environmental applications;and the anti-interference capability in complex electromagnetic environment is satisfied.The test results show the rationality of the design of the integrated control console case.
