The main function of the radar receiver is to amplify and process the echo needed to reflect back after the radar transmitting signal.The echo is filtered by means of the maximum discriminating rate between useful echo and useless interference.With the development of science and technology and the competition of modern military.Modern electronic countermeasures have played a decisive role.So as an important part of radar,Radar receivers offer higher requirements.All of this means it is imperative that study in-depth for Broadband high-resolution,High integration density,High reliability and High antijamming capability.This paper introduces the concept and purpose of ultra-wideband receiver,and this project is to design the broadband large dynamic RF front-end technical difficulties are analyzed,with sensitivity time control circuit to further expand the receiver dynamic range on STC,on STC design in radio frequency(RFSTC),not only ensure the noise factor,and extend the dynamic range,combined with the backend digital processing ability,in the hardware circuit realized the receiver dynamic range of more than 100 dB.And then introduced the main performance measures of the rf front end,based on RF simulation software ADS design process,including the software to the simulation of system link gain and noise figure,landscape design and testing process of the circuit.Since the installation platform has strict requirements on weight,the design of miniaturization is necessary.This topic by microwave multichip assembly(MMCM)technology,multiple MMIC chips,application-specific integrated circuit(ASIC)chips and other components in the microwave circuit substrate,the formation of high density,high reliability and multi-function microwave circuit components.Because of the use of high density interconnection baseboard and bare chip assembly,it is beneficial to realize the high density,miniaturization and lightweight of components.Compared with the traditional discrete circuit,the volume of the circuit module is reduced by 40% ~ 50% and the weight is reduced by 50% ~ 60%.The verification results show that,this paper established the simulation result can more accurately reflect the real test of the technical indicators,implements the received signal frequency range 2.6GHz~12GHz,receiver dynamic range-80dBm~30dBm,and weighing less than 50 g.The wide-band dynamic miniaturization receiver implemented in this paper can be applied to many other similar project platforms.
