With the development of artificial intelligence,5G,chips,processors and other technologies, the performance of drones is more powerful, computing power is stronger, transmission bandwidth is larger, and the response is more rapid. It can be implemented in military and civilian fields. The tasks are getting richer. And with the gradual popularization of the concept of the Internet of Everything, having an extra pair of "eyes" in the air has a lot of help for many of the emerging "wisdom" concepts.Multi-UAV clusters, the formation of self-organizing networks for drones is the development trend of UAV technology, and the routing problem in unmanned aerial vehicles has always been one of the core research issues. This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of various routing protocols in UAV networks for the characteristics of UAV self-organizing networks, and routes the mainstream AODV(Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector Routing,AODV)in mobile ad hoc networks. The protocol is researched and optimized to make it more suitable for UAV networks and improve the performance of UAV selforganizing networks. The main work of this paper is as follows:Under the planar structure, the UAV network nodes move faster, the network topology changes more frequently, and the energy is limited.Based on the existing AODV routing protocol, the relative mobility and residual energy of the nodes are considered comprehensively.According to the optimization, the EV-AODV(Energy and Velocity aware AODV,EV-AODV)with speed and energy awareness is proposed based on the defined routing cost instead of the hop count. The network simulation tool is used to target the corresponding environment.Simulations show that the EV-AODV with speed and energy awareness has better network performance than AODV when the node speed is high. When the number of UAV nodes is large, the performance of the routing protocol of the planar structure is degraded.Aiming at the large-scale unmanned aerial vehicle network with a large number of nodes, this paper designs an AODV-based hierarchical routing protocol ENC-AODV(Energy and Node degree weighted Clustering AODV,ENC-AODV),which comprehensively considers node degrees and The remaining energy of the node is selected as the cluster head with the node with the highest stability, and the cluster structure is maintained by periodic cluster head elections,so that the energy load in the network is balanced, avoiding the flooding of large flooding messages, and reducing the network.Routing overhead, extending the network's lifetime. The simulation results show that when the number of nodes is large,ENC-AODV has better performance than the planar structure of EV-AODV and AODV.The two routing protocols for different scales of UAV networks proposed in this paper take into account the optimization and achievability of simulation performance, and avoid the huge pressure caused by overly complex algorithms for UAV nodes. In addition, its algorithmic idea can be applied not only to UAV networks, but also to certain mobile ad hoc networks.
