Minimalism originated in the 1960 s.In Northern Europe,it is dominated by the Scandinavian style.“Less is more”.After introducing minimalism into Japan,it has been eclectic and combined with Japanese Zen culture to form a relatively unique design style-Japan's minimalist style.Japan's minimalist style occupies a relatively important position in the world,characterized by simplicity,purity,nature,simplicity and ease.Nowadays,more and more people pursue simplified life.Japanese minimalist style meets the aesthetic needs of today's people,so it attracts the attention of many designers.Web interface as a display platform of information requires simplification of visual design.Designers can express design ideas quickly and accurately by using Japanese minimalist design style.However,the related academic research mainly focuses on graphic design.This paper aims to explore the application of Japanese minimalist style in web interface design.It mainly studies the development,characteristics and aesthetics of Japanese minimalist style,and explores the application of Japanese minimalist style in web page design,so as to design a more suitable interface for the characteristics of Internet communication.
