The talk show originated from abroad,and later re-created in China,has become a popular form of programming.With the continuous development of the Internet in recent years,online talk show programs have become a hot type of program due to their high-quality content supply and convenient channel acceptance.At the same time,financial programs had a large audience because they are closely related to people's lives.Therefore,the knowledgeable financial content and the entertaining form of entertainment show "Wu Xiaobo Channel" appeared in a short period of time."Wu Xiaobo Channel" was launched on the video website iQiyi on May 8th,2014 and built the same name WeChat public number At present,it has developed into a network financial talk show with a single click rate of about one million video programs.In addition to Wu Xiaobo's own influence,and in the“content is king"media environment."Wu Xiaobo Channel" unique narrative ability and narrative strategy were the reason to meet the needs of network users."Wu Xiaobo Channel"standed out in many online financial talk show programs.Based on the theory of narratology,through literature research and case studies,this paper analyzes the successful narrative of Wu Xiaobo Channel in the competition from multiple dimensions.Specifically,starting from the characteristics of "Wu Xiaobo Channel",the narrative characteristics of the "Wu Xiaobo Channel"are analyzed in a simple way by using the narrative personal style,network narrative,narrative under the constraints of commercial communication,and fragmented narrative tendencies.Exploring and analyzing how programs integrate financial knowledge and talk show programs in a network environment,as to sort out its narrative characteristics and social communication value.At the end,in affirming the value of "Wu Xiaobo Channel" in how to tell a good story,I made a reflection and boldly put forward the enlightenment and shortcomings of the program "Wu Xiaobo Channel"."Wu Xiaobo Channel" lacks innovation in narrative mode,core competitiveness is easy to lose;audience participation is weak,lack of voice from the audience;lack of connection between programs and other new media matrix content.I hope the narrative research on "Wu Xiaobo Channel",can provide inspiration and reference for the development of online financial talk show.Inject fresh blood into the study of talk shows for narratology.
