Abstract/Summary:
As we media,websites,and Power Point are widely used,graphic design has become a kind of work that everyone evolves.However,since the users do not have necessary design knowledge and aesthetic ability,a large quantity of bad design works are produced in our real life.The purpose of this study is to assist the users with color coordination in their design work,lower the difficulty of design and improve the quality of color used in design works.Existing color coordination models are mainly fundamental research on color coordination modeling.Its research object is usually the color pair or color theme composed of 5 colors.These studies laid a foundation for computing aesthetics and the modeling and application of color coordination.However,the study of color coordination is still staying on the basic theory stage.Faced with much more complex color environment in practice,how to apply these existing color coordination models and whether these color coordination model can be also effective to evaluate color coordination and forecast in the practical environment,still remains to be studied.In this paper,based on the color coordination models,we set the research object in the most widely used webpage environment.At first,this paper selects particular sample webpages,extract the color blocks from the webpage and process them to the certain form of color combinations thatcan be applied to the existing color coordination models.The color coordination models score the color combinations,and then we can calculate the whole webpage color grading according to these scores.After that,we re-paint the original webpage by different color plans generated by different color optimization strategies.The best rated color plan will be returned and the webpage will be automatically optimized according to this color plan.Based on different color coordination models and optimization strategies,different webpage color optimization results are generated.We conduct a user test experiment with these optimized webpages to verify the effectiveness of these two color coordination models.Further,this paper will research more complicated practical webpages.By the analysis of webpage color layout structure,we find a general method to extract color coordination relationship between webpage color blocks.Based on that,the webpage color coordination assessment model we built is applied color block combinations to evaluate and optimize the common webpages.
