Color Theory On Webpage Design

Webpage design is a newly born discipline with the computer science's boom. Only a few years development, webpage design has already been the most important power in building the Internet. Just as the new injected fresh blood for the Visual Communication Art, it largely expanded its extension. Not like the other traditional designs just as poster design or package design which holds a long history of development, webpage design along with the age of computer, follows the steps of personal computer and internet's popularization and the big change in people's lifestyles, it will surely have a bright new future and the speed of its progress is unimaginable.Color of the webpage is the key to establish the image of the whole website. The study of webpage can't leave its color also. Color bring web not only energy, but also lifeblood. This paper set the webpage key tone as the main topic, discuss the method for web's interface color design. It comes with all the related conceptions about color, give the picture of history on color study, then gradually get to webpage color design this specialty. This paper starts with a new angle of view, combine with the other neighboring disciplines, Art Design, psychology, sociology for instance, integrate the characteristics of webpage design into analysis, hopes that this could come to some rational conclusion. This paper mainly brings forward a point that color comes before the form in webpage design. It puts the four seasons color theory which is once used simply in dressing into internet world. It concludes that webpage also has four seasons color tone, and apply this theory to practical design instances. This absolutely strengthened reliability and feasibility in this theory. The major idea of this paper is to provide some ways in future webpage color tone designs and maybe give some revelations to the others. Because Chromatics is a discipline that many other subjects involved, this study makes a lot of sense. It laid the foundation for the further study as well as concrete discovery. Not only gives inspiration, but also make use for reference above the disciplines.
