With the promotion of strengthening the police force through science and technology,the public security equipment management has become increasingly prominent as the carrier of modern policing work.Modernized,informationized and high-sophisticated police equipment has continued to be distributed and deployed.However,the extensive management models of traditionally manual registration and simple spreadsheet record are out of keeping with the exponential growth of requirements for police equipment management,which determines the inevitability of the informationized public security equipment management.The equipment management for one Public Security Bureau of the Hebei province is taken as the research object.Through analyzing the business requirements of the staff participating in equipment management of this bureau,an intelligent and automatic equipment management system model,which can also be manually intervened,is established based on RFID(Radio Frequency Identification)technology.Since this bureau is under great pressure and has heavy task of local policing,it is equipped with a variety of police equipment used for varied policing activities in order to effectively maintain the local social security order and fight against crimes.Therefore,enhancing the scientific and intelligent management of the public security equipment can efficiently improve the timeliness of policing work.Firstly,the problems of equipment management for this bureau are pointed out.The business processes of its equipment management,functional and non-functional requirements are also studied and analyzed.Then activity diagram,class diagram,and sequence diagram are given to describe the detailed design for function modules.In addition,the architectureand functional structure of this system are discussed in detail.The network topology,the designs of databases and security are given.Finally,the system implementation,deployment,and testing are described specifically.This dissertation focuses on the design and implementation of functional modules regarding equipment management business,which include the importing of equipment information,the daily management of equipment,warehousing and ex-warehouse of equipment.During the design and development process,the object-oriented programming method is applied.VS2012 and C# are used as the system development tool and language,respectively.The backend database system is upon SQL Server 2012 and two-tier C/S system architecture is applied.The equipment management system of this Public Security Bureau of the Hebei province based on RFID technology takes full advantage of the convenience of collecting equipment information by RFID device.The function of the designed system is comprehensive and practical.As a consequence,the efficiency of the public security equipment management is improved greatly.
