The maturating of mobile Internet technology has promoted the development of online car-hailing.With the advantages of efficient and diversified services,the online car-hailing has gradually become an important choice for urban residents to travel,but the resulting security problems have followed.Although the safety research on the online car-hailing has been carried out from the aspects of the supervision system and technical algorithms,the security problem of the passengers remains elusive.In this research,we explored the factors affecting the safety of female passengers from the perspective of human beings.Based on the theoretical knowledge of interdisciplinary fields such as design,psychology and ergonomics,this paper built a model to construct a safe environment for the protection of female passengers' safety.In this paper,a large amount of online texts was collected,and 543 online texts with specific time and culmination were selected for keyword extraction,and 47 passenger complaints and feedback events were sorted out.In order to remove incidents nothing to passenger safety,the organized events were compiled into a table for 38 female users.The statistics excluded 2 incidents.The Laddering Technique was used to investigate in-depth interviews with 6 users,for obtaining supplement events that may affect security and explore the abstract factors behind these events.After summarizing and sorting,45 events were abstracted into 20 factors,which were compiled into a questionnaires and randomly distributed.By Exploratory Factor Analysis,we obtained four factors that affect the safety perception of female passengers,which are information dimension,functional dimension,objective environmental dimension and individual dimensions of passengers,respectively.Based on the four dimensions,this study analyzed the three levels of security activation,maintenance,enhancement and compensation,and constructed a model of female passenger safety protection.In order to further verify the validity of the model,this study was adopted a case study to improve the design of the DIDI Express based on the design criteria of the safety-protected online car-hailing APP.Finally,by comparison with the previous version,the results showed that the improved one can better protect the safety of female passengers,and verified the effectiveness of the passenger safety protection model as well.
