A Report On Anti-domestic Violence In China Women's Daily From The Perspective Of Gender

Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has made important arrangements for the building of family civilization.In recent years,the work against domestic violence has made new progress in terms of policies and regulations,and the landmark “anti-domestic violence law” has been introduced.Emphasis is placed on the function of women's organizations and the punishment of violent perpetrators is increased by promoting multi-agency cooperation.Domestic violence is a bad behavior that the whole society has resisted.The civilized family is the daughter cell of social harmony.The victims of domestic violence have long lived in a morbidly deformed life,suffered a lot,and even suffered a tragedy of “violent violence”.To a certain extent,the mass media can help the audience form a rational and correct cognition in the issue of domestic violence by transmitting information.As the National Women's Federation's official newspaper,China Women's Daily is also the only national female newspaper in China.The newspaper has a wide audience and has a certain authority in the report.It has certain seriousness in some reporting topics,especially the maintenance of women's rights and interests.Using the combination of quantitative research and qualitative research to study the characteristics of the anti-domestic violence issue,use the gender perspective to examine the problems existing in the report on anti-domestic violence,and put forward corresponding thinking,which is helpful to the China Women ' s Daily."Report better on such issues and play a good role in safeguarding women's rights and interests."This study summarizes the general situation of the anti-domestic violence report of the China Women's Daily from 2011 to 2017,and analyzes the characteristics of the anti-domestic violence of China Women's Daily.It mainly reflects the government's actions in the form of news,so that the audience can understand the country's efforts and remarkable achievements in the anti-domestic violence problem.Reports on domestic violence also promoted a sense of anti-domestic violence,callingfor the establishment of a correct gender awareness,so that victims of domestic violence take the initiative to pick up legal weapons.The theoretical articles of experts and scholars have enhanced the depth of the report,and the topics of the report are also diverse.The legalization process of anti-domestic violence in our country is also related to the anti-domestic violence report of the newspaper.The two have a complementary relationship.Secondly,through the perspective of gender,this paper examines the problems in the report of anti-domestic violence,and finds that the newspaper has been focusing on shaping independent new women since its inception.However,in some reports of anti-domestic violence,women in the family of the domestic violence have become male affiliates and are weak and helpless.Some reports of anti-domestic violence have some inappropriate reports.Finally,based on the previous part of the study,I will think about the problems and shortcomings in the media coverage of domestic violence.
