High pulsed power technology is one of the front high technology in the world and has extensive application prospects.Pulse Forming Network(PFN)is an important part of pulsed power systems.In this paper,the PFN control system and discharge current monitoring system are analyzed and studied in detail.This paper design a monitoring and control system for pulse forming network based on multi-coprocessor hardware architecture,using DSP as the main controller and multiple FPGAs as coprocessors.It elaborates on the design of the control system of the pulse forming network.The system achieves the function of controlling the timing of multiple PFU discharges in the PFN,The hardware and software design schemes are given,and the FPGA program is simulated.It points out the importance of measuring the discharge current waveform.By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of different measurement methods,the Rogowski coil measurement system is finally selected.Next,the Rogowski coil structure and the principle of measuring current using Rogowski coil are introduced.Since the secondary current of the Rogowski coil is the differential of the primary current,the Rogowski coil measurement system must include an integrator.Then,introduced two kinds of integration circuits,and compared the performance of the two circuits.It elaborates on the design of the monitoring system of the pulse forming network.The system achieves the function of recording each PFU discharge current waveform.The hardware and software design schemes are given,and the FPGA program is simulated.Finally,in order to verify the system design,the whole system is tested.
