In recent years,domestic idol groups have emerged in an endless stream,and the development of fan culture has shown a new trend.A fan economic market with great commercial potential has gradually taken shape.In this context,a new idol production method "nurture" has entered the vision of domestic program producers and spectators.This article will focus on the "nurturing" network talent show "Creation 101" which was broadcast in 2018.From the perspective of ritual theory,this article will observe and study how the current talent show builds an idol "nurturing" ritual in which the audience is deeply involved.This article is based on the results of classical ritual theory research of scholars such as James W.Carey and Randall Collins.firstly,text analysis is carried out from the content of "Creation 101",which outlines the basic flame of the "creation" ritual."Creation 101" ennobles the audience as "creators" by role setting,space design and rule education,the audience has always played an indispensable role in this well-planned media ritual;through the observation of the various interactive behaviors of the fans' participation in the "creation" ritual,the audience's attention and participation have been confirmed again.It is essential to the survival and development of "nurturing" idols.Finally,combined with the observation and thinking of the current fan economy and idol industry,this paper finds the business logic behind the "Creation 101" program.The "creation" ritual is essentially a game in which the audience,the program produces and advertisers depend on and contain each other.and there is still a lot of risk to watch out for it.This article is roughly divided into the following sections:The first part introduces the source of the topic and the purpose of the research,combs the ritual theory and summarizes the current research status of the domestic talent show,clearly defines the scope of the research project "nurturing" and tries to confirm that a "creation" ritual is as well a "nurturing" ritual.The second part makes a concrete analysis of the connotation of the "creation" ritual construction of "Creation 101",and analyzes the various practices of "Creation 101" in constructing the program ritual for the audience.The third part focuses on the audience getting emotional energy from group interaction when participating in the "creation" ritual.The fourth part is about the claim of power in the "Creation" ceremony of audiences,program producers and advertisers,exploring the rationality of the "Viewers First" concept in the "nurturing" network show,observing the "Creation" ritual rules that the program tried to establish and revealing the essence of the commercial operation of the program.Finally,this article sorts out and summarizes research contents the above,pointing out the inadequacies of the research and the direction of further research efforts in the future.
