Design And Implementation Of The Mobile Police System On Android

With the needs of intensifying the public security techniques,the majority of polices need to query police affairs information through internal operation system of public security when they perform police service,in particular when they go on patrol,interrogate and examine personnel and vehicles,and arrest and combat criminals.Therefore,the grassroots policemen have stronger demand for on-the-scene data collection of police affairs,data verification,information transfer and other police work in non-fixed offices.With the massive popularity of smartphones / PAD,and the continuous improvement and speeding-up of mobile communication networks,Yixing Municipal Public Security Bureau,the unit where the author is working,makes use of its accumulated experience,develops and designs a set of Android mobile public security system that is in line with business rules stimulated by the Provincial Public Security Department and close to the actual needs of Yixing polices.It meets front-line police's outdoor information collection,query and other operational requirements.Based on the development technology of Android application,this paper adopts the SOA architecture and integrates technologies of PKI certification and mobile VPN,designs and realizes the mobile police service system meeting requirements of actual public security work.The mobile police service system of public security designed and developed by this paper combines Client/Server architecture and Browser/Server to form its overall systematic architecture.The terminal equipment of the mobile police service system adopts dial-up networking and accesses the application business system of public security web through safe accessing platform.Besides,this paper follows the development principle of hierarchical design,adopts the modular design philosophy and object-oriented designing method and uses Android SDK(Software Development Kit)and Eclipse development environment,applying JAVA language to make coding.In this way,it finishes modules of information verification,mobile “one-station search”,patrol interrogation and examination and duty management and realizes functions of quick verification and information collection for escaped criminals,population information and suspect vehicles.According to tests on function and performance of the mobile police system,it has reached where it intends and user demands have been satisfied.The generalization and application of the system among the entire city have put the research achievements into practice,a breakthrough in traditional police services,and further expands and improves the application scenarios of public security operation system,expand fixed office-based public security service system to every police officer through mobile Internet technology.This greatly improves the efficiency in using information systems by off-office police,and serves as a scientific and effective technological means in public security maintaining and fighting against crimes by public security organs.
