As the development of information technology and the demand of communication systems growing rapidly,the number of devices,RF system of modern electronic communication equipment are improving greatly.More and more domestic and foreign researchers pay attention to the problem of insufficient space carrying communication system.Therefore,developing the research of reconfigurable antenna technology,which can make the single antenna become an aggregation of multiple antennas and simplify the electromagnetic environment of communication system,has a great important value.Millimeter wave communication is widely used in the field of communication system and has a prestigious status.The main research of this thesis is millimeter wave pattern reconfigurable antenna targeting 5G cellular networks and the millimeter wave antenna frequency reconfigurable antenna.Firstly,this thesis explained the research background,significance and the characteristic of 60 GHz millimeter wave pattern reconfigurable antenna,and the principle and the key technology needed in the design of millimeter wave antenna have been introduced,such as the key techniques of microstrip antenna design and MEMS switch design used in the reconfigurable antenna.Secondly,a design of 60 GHz millimeter wave pattern reconfigurable antenna is designed.According to the principle of electromagnetic coupling,the coupling effect of the parasitic patch to the main radiation patch is mainly based on the electromagnetic coupling principle.The simulation results show that the antenna can reach the 9 beam direction? ? ? ????????-????,,,,,,1359045030030 of the semisphere space.The frequency range covered 57GHz-64 GHz of all the 9 modes which is the 60 GHz communication system common bandwidth.The gain in the nine radiation pattern is over 8.13 dBi,the reconfigurable ability is stable.Lastly,a millimeter wave frequency reconfigurable antenna is designed and studied in this thesis.The working principle of the antenna is introduced by studying the key factors of reconfigurable antenna frequency,using simulation software building the antenna structure,optimization and get the simulation results.The antenna can change two modes of the high frequency point 39.1GHz and the low frequency point 26.2GHz,the pattern radiation and gain of antenna is very stable which content the design specifications.And the simulation analysis of an MEMS switches which can used in the frequency reconfigurable antenna is introduced,which proves the feasibility of using short pin as a switch ideal model during the antenna design.The design of MEMS switch combined with the design of frequency reconfigurable antenna is simulated in the software,the results is more closer to the production results and make it easier to be manufactured in future research.
