Design And Implement Of Physical Layer Control Software In Satellite Communication Terminal

The satellite mobile communication method has unique advantages with its wide range of communication coverage in remote areas where people are rarely visited and where the terrestrial cellular communication system is damaged and is an essential communication method.This paper relies on the satellite terminal baseband chip that is independently researched and developed by the Wireless Center of the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,focused on the design of the physical layer control software in the baseband chip,the software provides the task and resources scheduling interface of the baseband subsystem and the interaction interface between the baseband subsystem and the protocol stack subsystem to ensure normal operation of the baseband chip,is an integral part of the chip.This paper takes the physical layer specification in the GMR-1 3G as the technical background,relies on the satellite terminal baseband chip as the hardware environment,focuses on the interrupt control mechanism of the Layer One Control(L1C),the software structure design of the Layer One Control,the interaction mechanism of the Layer One Control system and the interactive control strategy basing on the research and analysis of the control strategy of the Layer One Control.The specific work is as follows:(1)Study on the physical layer control system interrupt control mechanism for efficient query interrupt response mechanism and reasonable layout scheme of interruption of L1 C.(2)A modular software structure was proposed to provide a modular development foundation for later software development work.(3)Study the interaction mechanism of the physical layer control system,including the interaction mechanism between the physical layer and the Medium Access Control layer,the interaction mechanism between the L1 CP and the ASIP,the interaction mechanism between the L1 CP and the hardware microprocessor,and the interaction mechanism between L1 CP and RF interface.Propose an interactive control strategy and design an effective software interface aiming at the interaction mechanism of the Layer One Control,which implemented the control functions of L1 C.
