With the rapid development of wireless communication systems,higher requirements are placed on data transmission speed and spectrum resources.As one of the key equipments of communication systems,power amplifiers must continuously meet more needs,such as broadband,high efficiency and linearity.The proposed continuous power amplifier greatly improves the bandwidth and efficiency,and provides a theoretical method for designing broadband high-efficiency power amplifiers.At the same time,the introduction of genetic algorithms has brought convenience to the design of matching circuits.In this paper,the resistive serious of continuous inverse mode theory is introduced firstly.Waveform engineering technology is used to further shape the voltage waveform,and the third harmonic impedance is introduced.The resistive-resistive serious of continuous inverse mode theory is proposed,which further improves and enriches the theory of continuous modes.To verify the theory,a broadband high efficiency power amplifier is designed by introducing a ring resonator structure.The measurement test has a good consistence with the simulation results.Then,to meet the requirements of broadband and multi-passband,a co-design method of power amplifiers with filters is used to replace the traditional matching network and complete the in-band impedance matching.A ring resonator with open-short stubs provides rich zero points,which can be used for broadband and multi-passband power amplifier designs.Combining the co-design method and the continuous theory,a broadband high-efficiency power amplifier is designed with a ring resonator structure.The simulation results are in good agreement with the measurement results.Finally,for the difficulty of designing broadband matching network,the genetic algorithm is introduced into the matching network design to reduce the design difficulty and achieve broadband characteristics.By designing the basic microstrip line unit and fitness function in the matching circuit,the automatically generated broadband matching network performs the target impedance transformation well and a broadband high-efficiency power amplifier is obtained.The simulation results are comparable.
