Abstract/Summary:
Under the trend of increasingly complex equipment and technology integration,the requirements for the flexibility and integration of test instruments are getting higher and higher,and the drawbacks of the large and cumbersome traditional test instruments are increasingly revealed.Modular instruments based on the PXIe bus have gradually replaced large and cumbersome traditional test instruments with the advantages of miniaturization and standardization,and have become the core of the test and measurement industry.Based on the PXIe bus theory,this paper studies how to design and implement a standardized PXIe bus board.In the part of hardware circuit design,the hardware specifications and project requirements of PXIe are clarified,and the design scheme of Xilinx FPGA as the core device is determined.Finally,the PXIe board based on FPGA and its peripheral circuits is designed and implemented.In-depth understanding of the PXIe bus theory,using PCIe IP core to achieve PCIe interface communication,and based on this design PIO and DMA two transmission methods;in the driver design and implementation,first determined the use of WDF driver model To implement the PXIe driver solution,then explain the structure and principle of the WDF driver,and then introduce the process of the driver design and the implementation of the specific functions of the driver in detail.After completing the hardware debugging of the PXIe bus board,insert it into the PXIe chassis to identify and successfully install the driver you developed.The PIO function was successfully verified on the vivado software platform,and then the DMA transfer rate of the board was tested.The final result shows that the DMA transmission rate reaches 1.46 GB/s and the DMA reception rate reaches 1.17 GB/s.
