Abstract/Summary:
Group mobilization for the purpose of rights protection is currently the most common social aggregation behavior of urban residential areas in China, and WeChat Group,a new type of social media, has become a new field of its occurrence.Accordingly, the structure, discourse expression and mechanism of group mobilization have brought about new changes, and ultimately affect the effect of group mobilization, and present new characteristics.Taking the owner group A of Mediterranean Sunshine Residential District in Nanchang as a case study, this paper collects data by means of virtual ethnography and in-depth interview, and tries to explore the above-mentioned problems. It is found that the mobilization process of WeChat group is a process of coordination and linkage among structure, discourse expression and mechanism,in which structure plays a fundamental role, and it is with the support of specific structure that discourse expression has space.Only then can the mobilization mechanism be brought into full play.Discourse expression plays a central role in the whole mobilization process. To some extent, the mobilization process of WeChat group is the process of discourse expression.Through fully and skillfully expressing words and demands in WeChat groups, owners can achieve "group psychological uniformity".Mechanism is the logic of group mobilization, which plays the role of internal fuel and promotes the continuous development of group mobilization. The effect of the mobilization with the WeChat group shows the active state under the on-line and negative state under the off-line,and it exhibits the characteristics of low organizational dispersibility, easy aggregation and easy dissipation, and easy conversion of subject and object identity.
