With the needs of social development scanners have become an auxiliary tool for people in learning places and office places,and the types of scanners are becoming more and more diverse.However,the existing scanners are designed for a specific scanning format,and continuous scanning and multi-format scanning are not possible.The design of the scanning system is also complicated and expensive.So,it is very important significance to design a scanning system for multi-format,continuous scanning.Therefore,This paper proposes a camera-based ultra-long tape image scanning system.With the development of the camera,the resolution of the camera is getting higher and higher,and the price is relatively low.The picture stitching technology is more and more mature,and the control of the single chip is more and more mature.The development of the above technology provides the necessary conditions for the design of this paper.According to the functions to be realized in this design,on the basis of consulting a large number of literature materials,the design scheme and main research contents of this design are put forward,and the key technologies to be used in this paper are introduced in detail,and the research design of the subject is given.According to the design,First,select the appropriate camera as the image scanning tool,and use the camera's camera function to take photos at intervals.Then,according to the requirements of the solution,a paper feeding mechanism is designed to realize continuous transmission of the paper tape image.According to the design requirements,the designed paper-feeding platform width can meet the transmission of a variety of width paper images.Then select the Arduino controller as the control core of the hardware system,write the corresponding control program,control the working state of the DC motor of the paper feeding device,and the light source LED light inside the device.Finally,the upper computer program is written by Visual Studio 2015 development software.Through the serial port control camera to take pictures of the drive paper strip and save,send instructions to the Arduino controller through the serial port,control the DC motor and LED lights work,and finally process the image taken by the camera through the host computer program to complete the stitching.The scanner designed in this paper can scan the image of ultra-long different width paper tape,which can make up for the drawbacks of the existing scanner to a certain extent,but there are still some defects.
