Scanner is an integrative high-tech product of optics, electronics and mechanics. It is used to convert the traditional analog image into digital image. As there is an increasing requirement of professional scanning in some engineering fields, large format scanner can be used in many fields such as mechanics, architecture, water conservancy, reconnaissance, city planning, publishing and so on, often used to scan and store the blueprints, posters and some costly files. There are many kinds of large format scanner products in market today, but none of them was designed by Chinese companies or institutions. So it is very practical significance to design and produce large format scanner by ourselves.Based on the analysis of the working principle and structure of CIS scanners, and aiming at the function of scanning control system of Large Scale CIS scanners, this paper not only presents an overall scheme of CIS scanner control system centering on the 32 bit floating point signal processor TMS320VC33 of TI company, but discusses the hardware circuit design and implementation of CIS scanning control system in detail.According to the working principle of scanning control system's hardware circuit, the design achieved the initialization module of the main controller software, USB interface communication module as well as the initialization and communication module of LM98714. Moreover, it focuses on the discussion about the principle and the realization of image correction algorithm based on LM98714.
