Although the wired network in the urban communication network has been covered,from the development of communication technology and smart phone terminals,the wired network can no longer meet the needs of people to access the Internet anytime,anywhere,such as mobile payment,convenient transportation and wireless office.Compared with wired networks that require pipeline deployment,wireless networks can improve the city's network construction level and enhance the city's soft power more quickly and conveniently.Therefore,building a wireless city network is an inevitable choice for today's urban planning.In this context,this paper studies the design,construction and application of wireless city networks.This paper reviews the concept and development of wireless networks,explains the types and system requirements of wireless city networks,and introduces the more popular wireless communication technologies,such as 3G UMTS/HSPA,4G LTE/LTE-A,802.16 WiMAX,and 802.11 WLAN,etc.The key issues of WLAN historical evolution,network security and interference management are studied.The problems that need to be considered in the process of WLAN application in wireless city construction and the countermeasures are pointed out.This paper studies the overall architecture of urban wireless local area network(WLAN)construction and free open projects,including the components of the system and the functions of each part.The design content of the front-end wireless AP is studied,including channel selection,number of concurrent users and forwarding mode design.The design of the switching network scheme for the core network was introduced,and the characteristics and selection of aggregation and core switches were analyzed,and a flat networking scheme was given.The design of the system center was studied,including vulnerability scanning system,firewall system,content acceleration platform and export gateway.This paper takes Mengcun County wireless LAN construction project as an example,combines theory with practice,and studies the construction of wireless city network,including construction content,construction goals and overall network architecture.According to the actual scenes of Mengcun County,the deployment and equipment selection in different scenarios were studied.The problem of network optimization and interference detection that need to be considered in the actual network construction is studied.The reliability of the network in the construction project,such as the reliability of the networking,the reliability of the equipment,the reliability of the data management center and the certification management system,are studied.Based on the design and construction of wireless city networks,this paper analyzes and discusses the application of wireless city networks.The operation mode and application prospects of wireless city networks are studied.The extra scalability functions that wirelesscity networks can provide,such as urban video surveillance systems,urban public broadcasting systems and urban traffic management systems,etc.,are studied in addition to basic Internet access..The construction of wireless city networks covers all aspects of life and has a significant role in enhancing government administrative management capabilities and improving the living standards of urban residents.This paper combines the development of wireless city networks and wireless communication technologies to carry out in-depth analysis and research on the design,construction and application of wireless city networks.
