At present,telecommunication operators have 4G networks with good coverage,but they have disadvantages such as high power consumption,high cost and small capacity in carrying the Internet of Things,while NB-IoT has been highly praised by countries all over the world for its features of low power consumption,wide coverage,massive connection and low cost.The Chinese government requires to accelerate the deployment of wireless network to construct the NB-IoT network infrastructure.By 2020,it will achieve nationwide coverage,and achieve deep coverage for indoor meters,underground pipe networks,traffic networks and other applications.Based on the Yingtan project,this paper studies the planning and design of NB-IoT wireless network.Firstly,the NB-IoT network architecture and three key technologies are introduced.MCL link budget method is used to evaluate 20 dB coverage enhancement.Low-power technologies such as PSM and eDRX are analyzed.and Capacity estimation model of 3GPP is used to analyze the capacity of 50,000 connections per cell.Secondly,This paper analyzes the new communication requirements of NB-IoT in Yingtan,defines that the NB-IoT network should be positioned as the Low-speed Internet of Things,and predicts the taffic models and user requirements of four NBIoT services in Yingtan.Then,the planning and design of NB-IoT wireless network in Yingtan has been completed.The frequency deployment,coverage planning and capacity planning of NB-IoT are studied and analyzed by link budget and capacity estimation based on timefrequency resources.The design schemes of base station deployment,equipment selection and radio power setting are also studied.Finally,the NB-IoT wireless network in Yingtan is evaluated and analyzed.By DT and CQT test,it is estimated that NB-IoT wireless network has excellent coverage,stable quality and good construction effect.And proposes many feasible solutions from the aspects of optimization,construction,network and service to solve the typical problem of coverage and capacity.
