With the acceleration of China's urbanization in the new era,the traditional unit system community has been replaced by the new commercial housing community,the population composition is increasingly complex,neighborhood indifference has become the norm.As the smallest unit of social governance,building a harmonious community is of great significance to building a harmonious society.Community media is a bridge of communication between residents and government,build perfect community transmission channels,can effectively promote the flow of information,to form good relations of neighborhood,improve residents community sense of belonging,can also inspire residents awareness of community affairs and participation,mobilize grass-roots vitality,realize community autonomy.This paper takes the community media system of Nanchang,the capital city of Jiangxi Province,as the research sample,and takes the basic structure theory of communication as the framework to study the community media near-use behavior of community residents in Nanchang.In terms of research methods,field observation,in-depth interview and questionnaire survey are adopted.This study assumes that there is a positive correlation between residents' media proximity and their sense of community.By using SPSS 22.0 software to analyze the data,the results are analyzed and verified through descriptive,correlation and intersectionality analysis.It is found that there is a positive correlation between community media proximity and their sense of community.Therefore,from the perspective of community media,residents' sense of community belonging can be effectively enhanced by improving the functions of information communication,service,culture and political participation of community media.
