Receiving system of single communication mode can not meet the rapid development of information technology.For satellite communications,as the traffic volume increases,communication equipment needs to develop towards wideband,multi-rate and multi-mode hardware reusability,which requires higher flexibility of the receiving system.Therefore,it is important to study the implementation technology of broadband adaptive receiving system.Based on the national defense basic project,according to broadband adaptive receiving systems' design indicators,the paper studies the principles of rate adjustment,carrier synchronization and timing synchronization techniques for wideband adaptive receiving systems.In order to avoid electromagnetic interference,it is necessary to switch between signals with different bandwidths.For the received signals with a bandwidth of 400 MHz,after studying the basic theory and structure of multi-rate processing,this paper designs a receiver rate adjustment system that can flexibly cope with bandwidth switching.This paper designs the carrier synchronization and timing synchronization system based on multi-rate adjustment.These two synchronization systems can be applied to multiple modulation modes.In the carrier recovery system,this paper designs a joint frequency offset estimation algorithm.The algorithm can make the carrier recovery system have a wider capture range while ensuring the estimation accuracy.On the basis of the above research,the paper completes modeling design and performance analysis of the rate adjustment,carrier synchronization and timing synchronization of the whole system.The paper dose hardware design and test in Virtex-7 platform.The test results show that the wideband adaptive receiving system can complete the demodulate the MPSK with 3.90625 Mbps,31.25 Mbps,and 250 Mbps symbol rate under the channel situation that signal-to-noise ratio is 10 d B,carrier frequency offset is 100 KHz and symbol time delay is 3 symbols.
