In the era of rapid development of the global Internet industry,Internet companies have become the core force in the development of the global economy,and Internet companies are constantly changing the way people live.The rise of online shopping has greatly facilitated people's lives and enriched people's consumption patterns.Online shopping relies on Internet technology to gradually develop into today's e-commerce industry.E-commerce companies are developing rapidly in the world,compared with traditional enterprises.E-commerce companies have an extremely broad market and large-scale consumer groups.Studying the business model of e-commerce companies is of great significance to the development of the global e-commerce industry and the development of the global economy.As the first country in the world to develop e-commerce,the United States has formed a mature market.Although China's e-commerce industry started late,it has developed rapidly and has now surpassed the US to become the world's largest ecommerce market.Amazon has set off a boom in the US e-commerce industry.Today,Amazon has become an influential Internet company in the world.Dangdang is an early e-commerce business in China and once became the leader of e-commerce companies in China.With the popularity of China's Internet and the development of Internet companies,Dangdang has lost its important position in China's e-commerce market in the face of fierce competition,and has been surpassed by companies such as Alibaba and JD.The first chapter of this paper mainly introduces the research background,research significance and related theoretical research,and clarifies the research methods of the structure and application of the thesis.The second chapter mainly expounds the development history and development status of Dangdang and Amazon.The third chapter compares the business model elements of Dangdang and Amazon,and analyzes the similarities and differences between the two business models from four aspects: product and service,customer level,infrastructure level and financial composition.Through the detailed analysis in Chapter 3,the fourth chapter summarizes the three shortcomings in Dangdang's business model.The fifth chapter puts forward three suggestions for the shortcomings of Dangdang's business model and the existing problems of China's e-commerce enterprises.Finally,the paper summarizes this article.This paper analyzes the business model of Dangdang and Amazon,compares the similarities and differences between the two in terms of business model components,and studies how Amazon can rely on business model to achieve enterprise prosperity,Dangdang and China's e-commerce companies learn from Learn Amazon's successful experience in business models,provide reference for future development,and inject new momentum into the development of China's e-commerce industry and Internet industry.
