With the application and popularization of Internet technology in the new media era,network self-made programs also came into being.Today,the way of entertainment is gradually enriched,the influence of network self-made programs has gradually extended to all aspects of life.So,the research of self-made programs on the Internet is the product of the new media environment,it is of great significance to broaden the research field of new media,realize the value of program communication and increase the audience's cognition.This paper regards the program as a complete meal.It is divided into six chapters to discuss the metaphor study in the Temptation of the Dinner.Chapter one elaborates the previous scholars' research on metaphor and the allure of the meal from the research background and significance,research object,research theory and method,research status,research innovation,research problems and research framework;Chapter two compares the warm-up before the start of the program and the meal,analyses the metaphorical design of the program from the aspects of program composition,personnel selection,scene design and communication mode of the complete meal;Chapter three starts from Goffman's theory of dramatics,explores the commonness between Goffman's foreground presentation and metaphor by means of "the Temptation of Dinner" and individual foreground presentation,individual performance on the table and interpolation of activities in the meal;Chapter four explores the communication function of metaphor and the function of meal from outside the meal;Chapter five explores the philosophical thinking behind the meal and the present situation of contemporary Chinese-style meals from the perspective of metaphor;Chapter six draws a conclusion on the basis of summarizing the full text that the meals presented in the program carry the emotional communication and the completion of specific functions.The presentation through metaphor not only brings new reflection to the audience,but also provides a way for learning and learning for the innovation of self-made variety shows on the Internet.This article will adopt the methods of case study,literature research,analysis and induction,with a comprehensive interpretation of metaphor use in the Program The Temptation of Dinner.Previous studies on metaphor in The Temptation of Dinner,the fragmentation is obvious,most of the program research conclusions do not elaborate onmetaphor itself,it simply explains the relevant information about the audience that the program obtains in the course of broadcasting,but in this process,this paper combines cognitive linguistics,communication and sociology,both theoretical and practical levels have played a "win-win" effect;In addition,metaphor phenomenon from cultural perspective,interlacing the two clues of the meal in the program and the meal in real life,explain why dinnert has developed into a culture,whether it's a dinner on the show or a dinner in real life,the function of this bureau has never been a simple dinner,this is a carrier of culture and emotion,the realization of other purposes and functions through this dinner between people.Because the rapid development of network self-made variety shows in the new media era is obvious to all,in the future,even for a long time,there will be considerable progress,it is self-evident to study the reality of network self-made variety shows,the program also embodies the times and provides a reference for future research.
