The Communication And Interaction Of "Digital Body" In Network Romantic Relationship

The birth of network medium provides a new space for human social interaction activities and generates a new social interaction mode,that is virtual social interpersonal communication.At present,network communication has become a normal life style that can be accepted by modern people.Network romantic relationship as a network communication form with more emotional investment not only provides more possibilities for netizen love affairs but also reflects the transformation of Chinese marriage values,which reveals the changes of human affection needs.We are used to call cyber love when two individuals establish network love relationships.Cyber love is began in the early 21st century,the domestic academic research on cyber love is also concentrated in this stage,and then presents a decreasing trend year by year.Cyber love as a new loving way has been in fashion for a period,but it seems disappeared in the next 15 years.On the one hand,that is caused by negative reports from media which led public attitudes more pessimistic for cyber love.On the other hand,with the development of media technology,a lot of new cyber love forms are evolved,many people are reluctant to describe their experiences as cyber love even they have the substance of it.As time passes by,the term of cyber love seems far away from us.However,network romantic relationship has obviously existed,and its demand is more urgent than before.When"older age"and"blind date"become the currently high-frequency hot words,"emotional stress"and "social anxiety" are full of daily life,cyber love becomes an outlet for young group to seek privacy and free love,and it is one of the ways for them to bid farewell to their single life.Comparing with the traditional love,the biggest characteristic of cyber love is real body absence of the communicator,which is existed in the virtual space in the form of"digitization",while the perception process of human love depends on the real body to discover and feel.Therefore,the author asks the following questions:1.under the condition of real body absence,how the body is embedded in the virtual space to participate the inter-subjective communications and interactions.2.for the loving practice of'digitization body"',what kind of diachronic changes have happened in the ideological and practical relationships in the three-dimensions of space,body and emotion?3.how should we reflect the impact of the new network romantic relationship constructed by technique on human daily life from these changes?Based on the above questions,this thesis attempts to combine qualitative research with quantitative surveys from the physical perspective,using literature survey methods,virtual ethnography as well as questionnaires to inspect the communication and interaction of "digitization body" in three different network romantic relationships.This thesis,excepted the part of introduction,is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is mainly to sort two levels.The first level is to tease the relationship between physical and mentality,body and love from the theory and source.The body has experienced a process from absence to restoration in the love relationships,and the importance of the body becomes more and more prominent.The main line of the second level is to sort the loving ways changed by medium technical improvement,the hidden line is to reveal the existence state of the body in each loving stage,from"presence" to "absence".Especially in the era of mobile internet,the body in the network romantic relationship correspondingly becomes digital.It is the main body of this thesis from the second part to the fourth part.According to the form of realistic love,the purpose of netizens intercourse,the author divides the current cyber love into two types based on the different scenes generated by the network romantic relationship under the influence of technology.The first one is the emotional interaction of network blind date,taking Jiayuna.com as an example.The second one is emotional interaction of network communication,taking the Soul application as an example.The characteristic is that the realistic body of network romantic relationship subject exists,but is absence.However,with the development of virtual reality technology,the form of network romantic relationship is also dissimilated,which is characterized by the fact that the entity body of communicator not longer exists,and is more absent.The author summarizes it into the existing way of the third emerging type of network romantic relationship,that is from the emotional interaction of infatuated network,taking "Mr.Love:Queen's Choice" as an example.This constitutes the writing logic of the above three cases.The concretely contents from the second chapter to the fourth chapter is divided into three sections.The first section is to explore each kind of source of the network romantic relationship in realistic situations,and to sort its flowing deformation.The second section is to analyze these three forms of network cyber love intercourse and interaction based on empirical materials and questionnaire survey results.From the perspective of space,body and emotion,the third section is to summarize that the communicator in what ways puts the body element into the communication scene to participate in the inter-subjective communication and interaction when the body is absent.The fifth chapter is the discussion and reflection of this thesis.First,the three network romantic relationships are compared as a whole.With the development of media technology,the author discovers that,in the network romantic relationship,the physical absent of the communication subject gradually increases,and the communication of"digitization body"slowly escapes from the real space and gets rid of the reality factor to enter the eternal virtual state.The more online emotions are spent by the communicator,the more real emotions of reality are quietly consumed.In addition,these three kinds of network romantic relationships cannot be completely separated to analyze,they are a development trend formed by the result of the technical influence of the lower layers of nesting,but currently coexisting in the present.Second,it is to discuss from the technical point of view,the development trend of the three kinds of network romantic relationship is the result of the high integration and mutual promotion of technical logic and biological logic.The virtual presence of the body is that the communicator realizes the interaction between the real body and the information by means of the intermediary of"imagination,idealization,and construction of the body",while the virtual body is the body constructed by technology,namely technical body.Whether it is the virtual presence of the body or the virtual body,it requires a deep integration of technology and physical experience,that is,physical and social body as a guide.Finally,from the perspective of social culture,the author believes that the network practice without the body as the subject of communication obscures and ignores the multi-faceted compensation of the virtual network emotion to the actual emotion,but it is also the substitution and satisfaction of this spirit that makes people's reality emotions gradually become absent,and the interpersonal expectations of reality begin to decrease,thus falling into a cycle of anxiety which results a feeling of deeper loneliness.
