On the base of original research results, including Theory and practice aspects,thepaper has proven the social presence and connectedness are two main sides influencinginternet interpersonal relationship, and also has proven that the influence ofconnectedness is stronger than that of social presence.First of all, the paper has chosen RenRen as the research object which is the leaderof Chinese social networking services. Then the paper did text analysis of content whichis issued by the RenRen registered users in order to compare the level of social presenceand connectedness of RenRen text. By the analysis of text, the paper has made sure thatthe level of connectedness is stronger than that of social presence.Then, the paper has made research on internet interpersonal relationship level,social presence level, connectedness of RenRen registered users by the means ofquestionnaire. The result of research has proven internet interpersonal relationship ofRenren is higher than the average level set by the questionnaire, which has explained thatRenRen has good internet relationship quality. Then the paper has made analysis of datacoming from research with the use of SPSS data analysis software. The result has proventhat RenRen users’ level of connectedness is higher than that of social presence, and hasalso tell us that social presence, connectedness is related with internet interpersonalrelationship. So the conclusion is that the influence of connectedness is stronger than thatof social presence on network interpersonal relationship.The paper has also found “social presence”,”connectedness”,”network interpersonalrelationship quality” are different at different levels of different variables, such as"gender","professional","age","RenRen online time". Especially, at different level of"RenRen online time" variable, the difference of three indicators is large. The threeindicators have presented change rule with the change of "RenRen online time" variable,from short to long.
