This article takes the rise of the MeToo movement in China as an example.Based on the history and logic of Chinese feminism, this paper explores the relationship between the media generation of female concepts and social media in the Chinese scene. This paper first sorts out the cultural concepts related to women at home and abroad. From the perspective of history and knowledge,we comb the development of feminism and gender concepts.Subsequently, the literature on domestic feminist media related research was summarized and summarized. We find that most of the analysis of feminism and traditional media presentations will be in place to show the traditional Chinese feminine culture and the reflection of patriarchy.Emphasize the gentle temperament of women and the contribution to the family and society. These studies have problems that ignore women's subjectivity.Nowadays, with the popularity of Internet technology and the widespread use of social media, feminism has a tendency to be diversified and personalized in digital media. This kind of presentation, basically speaking,is the result of independent individuals' choice of gender relations without the choice of professional media.By combing the relevant speeches and opinions in the MeToo movement, this paper summarizes the characteristics of female consciousness and gender concept displayed by MeToo movement on social media. The author collects and discusses the controversy and evaluation of the MeToo movement on the domestic social media platform, and finds that the intersection and disagreement of the controversy mainly focus on the following points: First, this female opposition in China is rare.Is the incident of invasion an event that loses rationality and legal awareness? Second, what kind of mechanism and psychological involvement of women who are sexually assaulted into the MeToo movement? What is the role of MeToo in China? The third is to use legal means to safeguard women's individual rights. The gathering and discussion of these viewpoints shows that the emergence of Chinese feminism on social media has the following three characteristics: one is to pay attention to its own subjectivity, the other is to use legal means to safeguard its own rights, and the third is the convergence and integration of multiple perspectives. This paper argues that the reason for the emergence of feminism in social media is due to the fact that with the development of Chinese society after the reform and opening up,the social status of Chinese women has changed, and education, occupation, and family have improved. On the other hand, the characteristics of social media also influence the connection between female self-expression and female groups, thus affecting the media generation and dissemination of new female consciousness. At the same time, the discussion of the MeToo campaign has enriched the role of social media.
