At present,4G communication network has been popularized and applied all over the world.However,in the process of its development and application,such as chaotic communication system and poor real-time positioning function have been exposed.There are a series of problems such as limited performance gain and limited transmission capacity.In order to better meet the needs of communication services development and commercial communication technology,the fifth generation mobile communication technology came into being.As an important functional component,the design of base station antenna array has become a hot issue in recent years.By investigating the research progress of 5G mobile communication antenna in China,it can be preliminarily judged that its antenna should have miniaturization,wide band and high isolation.The characteristics of low echo loss and high gain can better meet the performance requirements of 5G mobile communication,such as fast transmission rate and good beamforming quality.In November 2017,the State Ministry of Industry and Information issued a notice on the use of frequency bands in 5G mobile communication systems.It is stipulated that the 3300MHz-3600 MHz and 4800MHz-5000 MHz band should be set as the working frequency band of the 5G system,so it is of great practical significance to develop a broadband antenna array suitable for the 5G microwave band and compatible with the WiFI/WiMAX band.Based on this,this paper is dedicated to the study of a suitable 2.4GHz-3 A miniaturized planar monopole antenna in the 5GHz band,which can meet the requirements of 5G microwave band and the current communication band at the same time,The structure and performance of the antenna array are optimized according to the functional and technical requirements of the 5G mobile communication.The main contents of this paper are reflected in the following three aspects:(1)This paper introduces the research background of 5G mobile communication and the research situation at home and abroad,summarizes the key technologies and important indexes used in 5G mobile communication,and selects two new broadband array antennas to analyze their design.(2)Based on the application principle of planar monopole antenna and the principle of coplanar waveguide feed,a CPW fed Y type planar monopole antenna which can satisfy 5G medium frequency band and WiFI/WiMAX band is designed,and the simulation test of this antenna is carried out.The experimental results show that the bandwidth of the antenna is 2.4 GHz to 3.5 GHz,and the gain is greater than 1dBi.At the same time,in order to improve the large size of the antenna,a miniaturization design for the Y type planar monopole antenna is proposed.The effects of the size,current path,feed mode and loading slot on the antenna performance are determined in turn.The simulation results show that the bandwidth of the miniaturized antenna is 2.35GHz-3.55 GHz,and the gain value is 1dBi.(3)In order to further optimize the antenna performance,the decoupling method for 5G mobile communication antenna array is studied,and a 2 × 4 antenna array structure is designed.The effect of decoupling technique on the performance of antenna array is determined by loading decoupling isolation arm and decoupling neutralization line respectively.The test results show that the operating bandwidth of the antenna array is 2.05 GHz ~ 3.5 GHz and the gain value of the array is more than 12 dBi.Synthesizing the above research and design process,the Y type planar monopole miniaturized antenna array designed in this paper based on CPW feed can fully cover the bandwidth of frequency band and WiFI/WiMAX band in 5G mobile communication,and the isolation degree of array antenna is more than 15 dB.The performance optimization effect of antenna gain value greater than 4dBiand array antenna gain value greater than 12 dBi is realized.It can basically meet the application requirements of frequency band in 5G mobile communication,and can also be compatible with the current commonly used wireless communication band.It has certain practical guidance for the connection between 5G mobile communication and 4G mobile communication and the development of 5G mobile communication.Righteousness.
