Research On THE CHILDREN's LITERATURE From The Perspective Of Political Culture-(1963-1966)

Children Literature was founded in 1963 by a group of famous writers who devoted to open children horizons of reading more widely.Children Literature provided manifold choices for children in the layout arrangement,space setting and genre style,also strengthened aesthetic and ideological education through children extracurricular reading.Children Literature was as famous as "Youth Literature" and other famous journals.All these journals became the large literary periodicals for young people after the foundation of the People's Republic of China(PRC).They meant the initial development of children literature in 1960s.The era environment and political atmosphere in 1960s had strong and profound impact on children literatures,which was found through the deep study of the background,editorial guidelines and various texts of Children Literature.Under such influence,the literatures should be consistent with children's psychological and emotional characteristics,on the other hand,they also would be with strong ideological colors.These aspects were fusion,but sometimes they were contradiction,because children literatures were an auxiliary way of purposeful orientating education in the integration process of the PRC literature.Children literatures manifested the "red" political color through the subjects of "revolution and struggle".The "revolution" was expressed through the revolution theme and revolutionary narrative.The "struggle" was presented through the adultification of children literatures,and the aesthetic view of the "Red Classics"which was being formed.It was hoped that all children should become socialist successors through the purposeful orientating education in these periodical.So "Children Literature "with the strong political color had developed unique artistic character and aesthetic interest for the political culture in the last stage of the Republic" seventeen years".These are meaningful and memorable lessons for today's children publications,which is the meaning of studying Children Literature.
