With the rapid growth of network size and load flow, there are more and moremultimedia services with QoS requirements, which brings new challenges andrequirements to the structure and function of the network. MPLS VPN multicastnetwork technology is seem as a representative in the continuous study and explorationof new network technology, and it has been widely used because of its simple structure,high controllable, convenient and effective traffic distribution,network expansion, etc.However, because of lack of effective flow control means in the current MPLS VPNmulticast network technology,which often leads to the load imbalance that some linksare excessive use while others are idles.It not only can’t fully utilize the existingnetwork resources, but also can’t guarantee the quality of service. MPLS VPNmulticast network traffic engineering is to resolve the issue above-mentioned. Itfocused on the problem of multicast routing technology,on the one hand it providessome improvements against the limitations of existing multicast QoS routing algorithm;on the other hand, it discusses the dynamic load balancing multicast routing algorithm.Through discussion of multicast routing multicast routing technology above-mentioned,it provides some new ideas for development of MPLS VPN multicast trafficengineering technology.The first chapter describes the background, purpose and importance of researchfor the MPLS VPN multicast traffic engineering. The second chapter describes thebasic architecture and related protocols of MPLS VPN multicast network. The thirdchapter describes the Ant Colony QoS multicast routing algorithm and itsimprovements, in which the comparative experiment shows that the improvedalgorithm is better than the old one in the quality of the solution;at the same time itprovides some experimental analysises of the improved algorithm parameters, throughwhich it obtains the parameter range of getting more optimal solution The fourthchapter discusses the QoS multicast routing algorithm which combines Ant Colonyalgorithm and particle swarm algorithm, it has the advantages of the two above-mentioned intelligent optimization algorithms, the experiments in differentnetwork show that hybrid algorithm is superior to the ACO and ACO-GA algorithmin respect of astringency. The fifth chapter describes the multicast load balancingrouting algorithm, in which simulation results show that the algorithm can achieve loadbalancing of multicast network, and minimize bandwidth consumption. The sixthchapter summarizes the further research direction.
